Since its establishment in 1996, GOLDVIEW has been a pioneer in seamlessly supporting Japanese films from production to international sales for nearly 29 years. Our in-house production Pain (directed and written by Masato Ishioka) won the New Director Award from the Directors Guild of Japan, and also received a Special Award at the Fantasporto International Film Festival in Portugal. Since then, we have delivered the charm of Japanese cinema to audiences around the world, across a wide range of genres including live-action, animation, and documentary.

Among our most notable achievements, we brought to the international market culturally significant works such as Belladonna of Sadness, an art animation that has been rediscovered and highly acclaimed worldwide. We have also supported the overseas distribution of award-winning Japanese films like Pain, which received the Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award and a Special Award at the Fantasporto International Film Festival.

As an international sales agent, we provide one-stop services ranging from coordinating entries into international film festivals, conducting business at overseas markets, producing translations and subtitles, to creating posters, flyers, and trailers for global audiences. With in-house native speakers of English, Korean, Chinese, and French, we ensure localization that preserves the cultural appeal of each work, enabling the best possible match with the right countries, distributors, and festivals.
